The BARE brand has been setting standards in the world of diving for years, combining advanced technology with the precision of manual craftsmanship. Every BARE drysuit is the result of the work of specialized teams, the latest technologies, and strict quality control procedures – all to ensure reliability in the most demanding conditions.
Advanced Design Process
Advanced Design Process
The design and modeling of BARE products are carried out using Gerber systems – modern CAD/CAM tools that allow for the precise preparation of every element of the suit. All designs are created in Canada, in our design center, where a team of specialists takes care of every detail. Production, however, takes place in a specialized factory in Malta. Both branches operate on the same IT platform, which eliminates the risk of errors and guarantees full data consistency at every stage of production.
Exclusivity Supported by Technology
BARE is a premium brand – that's why the production process of drysuits is supported by dedicated technical departments, including quality and engineering departments. They support every stage – from research and development to production and final tests. The quality team, led by an experienced manager and a team of three inspectors, supervises every stage, ensuring compliance with the highest standards.

Precise Cutting Using Gerber Technology
The process of cutting the elements of the suits is fully automated and based on the integrated Gerber cutting system. The software allows for the simultaneous preparation of multiple panels, which are then sent to the production queue. The operator sets the parameters for a given material, and the system automatically performs the cutting – guaranteeing the highest quality and repeatability of every element. The finished parts are precisely sorted by size, according to visual cues on the machine's screen, which further minimizes the risk of errors.
Perfection begins with materials
Every material, before it reaches the production line, undergoes a detailed quality control. A specialized technician uses specialized equipment designed to detect flaws and defects for this purpose. Any imperfections are marked and eliminated at the initial inspection stage.
Cutting
The simultaneous cutting of multiple suit panels is prepared in special software and then transferred to the Gerber cutter's queue. The cutter operator selects the material for cutting, sets all the parameters for the chosen type of material. The cutting is done automatically. The advantage of an automatic cutter is that the quality of the cut parts is extremely high. After cutting, all pieces are placed together and sorted by size. To avoid errors during the sorting of the cut elements, we see instructions on the upper screen on how to sort the cut panels.
Control of chemical and mechanical connections
We have invested in the necessary equipment to ensure optimal control of all chemical and mechanical connections in our drysuits. An example in the picture is a viscosity meter that measures the viscosity of the glue. The glues, which are critical components of our products, are mixed by one person in a room specially prepared for this purpose.
Leak Tests – Uncompromising Quality
Every BARE drysuit undergoes a leak test using one of the highest test pressures in the industry. This ensures that the user receives a product ready to work in the most demanding environments – from technical diving to extreme conditions in cold waters.
Rigorous Quality Control at Every Stage
Every stage of production – from the preparation of materials, through assembly, to final tests – is supervised by a team of quality specialists. This multi-layered control guarantees that every suit that leaves the factory meets BARE's standards and the expectations of the most demanding divers.
