Photon Trim Pockets are high-quality trim pockets designed for divers striving for a perfect, horizontal silhouette in the water. These additional pockets allow for weight distribution along the cylinder axis, dramatically increasing stability, improving propulsion efficiency, and optimizing buoyancy control.
- Advanced Trim Optimization: Moving some of the weight to the tank belt effectively adds weight to the upper section of the dive set. This results in a natural horizontal body orientation, minimizing hydrodynamic drag and significantly reducing energy expenditure and breathing gas consumption.
- Stabilization: By placing the weight close to the tank's center of gravity, Photon Trim Pockets eliminate the undesirable effect of lateral rotation. This solution is especially recommended when using wing-type buoyancy systems, where precise balance is key to comfort.
- Configuration: Each module holds up to 2 kg of ballast, for a total of 4 kg of additional corrective mass. This provides invaluable support in configurations requiring a large amount of lead (e.g., drysuit diving).
- Installation: The pockets are fully system-compatible. They can be integrated directly with the Photon ecosystem tank belt (including the Tank Tamer belt), as well as with most standard harnesses and BC systems available on the market.
