Dive Computer
  •  Dive computer features: The Oceanic+ Dive Housing runs on the same computer app (Oceanic+) developed for the Apple Watch Ultra. Click here to review all Oceanic+ features. The iPhone user interface allows you to limit dive data to the essentials, letting you focus on taking photos or videos. New updates and features are released regularly, making Oceanic+ the last dive computer you'll ever need.
  •  Extended capabilities with the Oceanic+ app for iPhone: The Oceanic+ Dive Housing seamlessly integrates with the Oceanic+ app, unlocking comprehensive dive computer functionality while allowing you to effortlessly track and share your dive data with others.
  •  Dive log synchronization: Ability to sync dive logs from iPhone to Apple Watch Ultra.
  •  Variometer (ascent rate): Track detailed depth changes with our innovative variometer; as depth changes, the wheel rotates up or down with precise movements and color signals when you are ascending too fast or descending too deep; it also indicates where to perform decompression and safety stops.
  •  Depth: Your actual depth during the dive is displayed in feet or meters in a large, easy-to-read format. The maximum operating depth of the Oceanic+ Dive Housing is 60 meters (196 feet).
  •  Time: Time spent underwater for a specific dive.
  •  Time to surface: The time in minutes to ascend to the surface, taking into account the ascent time with required decompression or safety stops, while maintaining an ascent rate within safe standards.
  •  No Decompression Time (TLBG): The tissue loading bar graph or "TLBG" is a visual representation of your no-deco time, which is the time you can remain at a given depth before entering decompression. The Oceanic+ app will monitor your no-decompression limit and O2 accumulation during your dive to calculate your remaining dive time.
  • Safety warnings: Safety warnings can be customized and displayed as visible and/or haptic notifications to the user during the dive, informing about decompression stops, safety stops, ascent rate, and more.
  • Safety stop: As a precaution after every dive, a 3-minute stop at 5 meters (15 feet) is made before the final ascent. This allows the diver to release residual nitrogen remaining in the body. Please note that the duration of safety stops may be longer depending on various factors, including decompression time and ascent rate.
  • Time to surface: Displays the estimated time to reach the surface without exceeding an ascent rate of 10 meters (32 feet) per minute, plus the decompression stop time if the diver has entered a decompression dive, plus a 3-minute safety stop.
  • Decompression stops: When a diver exceeds the no-decompression limit, mandatory decompression stops will be activated, which will vary depending on the depth and time spent at that depth. We recommend that even with advanced training, you always stay within no-decompression limits. The variometer will indicate the decompression ceiling along with the decompression time and a countdown timer.
  • Nitrox: Nitrox refers to any air mixture (nitrogen/oxygen) containing more than 21% oxygen.
  • Nitrox Ready up to 40%: This means this product is suitable for Nitrox gas mixtures up to 40% oxygen.
  • PPO2: Stands for partial pressure of oxygen, which is affected by the current depth or atmospheric pressure. It is important to remember that when changing the oxygen percentage in the settings for nitrox mixtures, a MOD calculation appears, which is the maximum allowable depth for the selected gas.
  • Maximum depth: The maximum depth reached during the current dive will be displayed.
  • CNS + PPO2: CNS is the oxygen clock displayed as remaining minutes based on PPO2 levels, while PPO2 is the partial pressure of oxygen at that moment during the dive. An increase in PPO2 causes a sharp reduction in exposure time for CNS.
  • Pre-dive settings menu: This is a summary of your pre-dive settings, which includes gas mixture (e.g., Air 21%), maximum planned depth/time, altitude, and more. It is launched from the menu, with the action button, or starts automatically. This menu allows you to check your selected settings before the dive and even update them with the dial and function button in shallow water.
  • Compass: During the dive, a 3D tilt-compensated compass is available to help you set your dive direction.
  • GPS Location: For unparalleled convenience, the Oceanic+ Logbook automatically tracks your start and end points via GPS and automatically saves the session for future use. You no longer have to remember to manually log every dive. Now it's done automatically.
  • Total dive time: This is the total expected underwater time for the next dive.
  • Maximum depth: This is the maximum planned depth for the next dive.
  • Gas mixture: The Oceanic+ app has the ability to manage multiple tanks during the same dive. Make sure you have the appropriate level of training for this type of feature.
  • Conservatism: This option changes the conservatism level of the decompression algorithm. These are factors that can increase the possibility of decompression sickness. It is recommended to choose an option based on your personal diving experience. If you are unsure, we recommend using the default or most conservative setting.
  • Gradient factors: The Oceanic+ app uses the unmodified Bühlmann ZHL-16C algorithm with gradient factors. Gradient factors are used to lower the maximum tolerated supersaturation in tissues compared to the original Bühlmann values. This results in less nitrogen in the body at the end of the dive, which under normal conditions makes the dive more conservative. Gradient factors are expressed in pairs: the first value, also called low GF, represents the percentage of the original Bühlmann value that determines the start of the final ascent (applies only to decompression dives); the second value, also called high GF, represents the percentage of the original Bühlmann value that determines the residual nitrogen at the surface at the end of the dive.
  • Altitude (automatic): The Oceanic+ app can be adjusted for diving at different altitudes. This setting automatically adjusts the decompression calculations for the given altitude range. WARNING: Traveling to a higher altitude can temporarily cause a change in the balance of dissolved nitrogen in your body. It is recommended to acclimate to the new altitude before diving.
  • Surface intervals: This is the time on the surface between dives.
  • No-fly time: This is a countdown timer until it is safe to fly. The countdown starts immediately after a dive and lasts for 24 hours. The no-fly time is important before traveling to ensure that residual nitrogen is eliminated from the diver's body. After each dive, the no-fly time will be calculated based on the DAN standard no-fly time.
  • Logbook: In addition to displaying the classic dive profile of depth and time, you can activate an overlay graph with information on temperature, ascent rates, and no-decompression time throughout the dive profile. Each dive log allows you to add information about visibility, surface conditions, and currents.
  • Gear Locker: In addition, the logbook includes a "gear locker" that allows you to track the equipment you used, as well as its runtime and scheduled service dates.
  • Share your experiences: Finally, with social apps, you can connect with your dive buddies, share logs with friends, rate your favorite dive site, and save photos for each dive, including a GPS location tag.
  • Surface mode: After surfacing, Oceanic+ immediately shows the profile of your last dive, including depth, time, and other important information. This mode also shows the surface time and recommended no-fly time along with the estimated maximum allowed altitude. After the no-fly time has elapsed, the surface timer disappears, and all dive data is saved in the logbook.
  • Total stats: Total number of dives; total dive time.
  • Seasonal stats: Number of dives, dive time, maximum depth... weekly, monthly, and yearly.
  • Stats by activity: scuba diving, snorkeling.

Camera Details
Recording media files in RAW and compressed formats
The Oceanic+ Dive Housing offers professionals the ability to record media files in both RAW and compressed formats, ensuring optimal image evaluation and control. This feature caters to experienced divers who require high-quality raw files for post-dive analysis and editing. By recording in RAW format, divers can preserve all the original data captured by the camera's sensor, allowing them to make precise adjustments and enhancements during post-processing. On the other hand, compressed formats provide a convenient option for divers who prefer smaller file sizes without compromising overall image quality. With the Oceanic+ Dive Housing, divers have the freedom to choose between these formats, enabling them to achieve their desired visual results.
White balance correction for adaptive depth adjustment:
The Oceanic+ Dive Housing includes white balance correction technology that automatically adjusts depending on the dive depth. This innovative feature enhances image accuracy by accounting for the varying color temperature and lighting conditions experienced underwater. The Oceanic+ Dive Housing offers multiple presets that are suitable for different dive depths, ensuring accurate color representation during the dive. By applying depth-dependent white balance correction, divers can achieve optimal image capture to facilitate the application of post-dive correction algorithms. This guarantees better image quality and higher color fidelity, allowing divers to capture and preserve the true essence of their underwater experiences.
