Light Source

The LED is the most effective light source. The FL 2500 model is equipped with a single 2500 lumen LED that provides cool white light and 10,000 hours of use. The optimized light beam has an angle of +/- 5° and provides a clearly defined central spot for effective signaling.

Electronics

The FL 2500 model combines the best features of its predecessors: the intuitive operation of the FL 3000 with the long burn time and 3 power levels of the FL Smart. A new feature is the excellent, advanced electronics system that does not overheat. 3 different power levels allow the diver to adjust light intensity and power consumption. The first turn of the magnetic ring in either direction turns on the torch in 200-lumen mode, which can be safely used on the surface. Another clockwise turn switches the torch to half power mode (1000 lumens), great for use in murky water. The third turn of the magnetic ring activates full power mode with a blinding, concentrated beam of light (2500 lumens).
