The FLY side school sidemount is dedicated to diving schools and for individuals who prefer an adjustable harness. A unique combination of high lift, streamlined profile, and durable construction. After trying various sidemount systems, none of which were completely comfortable, we started to consider what divers need in different environments. We developed an easy-to-use modular system. The FLY side sidemount systems were developed in collaboration with divers in open water, complex cave systems, on wrecks, and in inland waters. FLY side school is ideal for all types of diving. We wanted to create a system that would allow the user to distribute enough weight to submerge and dive comfortably from start to finish. The solution is very simple – a backplate for perfect weight distribution along the back.

1. Ergonomics - a unique combination of high lift, a streamlined profile, and durable construction allows for diving in any environment, from open water to confined spaces. The required weight is comfortably distributed along the diver's back.

2. Wing - a double shell and a sophisticated 3D "accordion" design ensure a flat shape even when the wing is fully inflated. Available in 2 colors: red or black. The wing has three ports, each of which can be used for an inflator, a dump valve, or a blanking plug. See the list of configuration options to prepare your gear accordingly.

3. Harness - for FLY side, we used our high-quality backplate. The goal was to achieve perfect weight distribution and the ability to carry as much or as little weight as possible on a dive, depending on the requirements. The harness is fully configurable, with a choice of the following plates: aluminum for travel or steel – 3 mm and 6 mm depending on the amount of weight used. The weight system can also be customized – we offer backplate-mounted weight pockets in 3 sizes: for 1, 2, or 3 kg of soft weight. Another option is the ability to use an optional integrated weight system attached with screws to the backplate, 2x5 kg.

4. Modularity - this provides the additional option of combining different harness configurations with FLY side or with any FLY wing (back-mount) and the ability to choose the preferred weight system. The system can be customized to individual needs. Everything is possible with FLY side and FLY speleo (in preparation for later this year).

FLY side is a modular system, which allows for individual configuration. The FLY side harness is a versatile component; it can be removed from the FLY side system and used with any FLY wing, giving the user more diving options. A second harness can also be used, so FLY side can be prepared for travel or local cold-water dives.
