The FLY 17D Wing is designed for a single tank from 12L up to a maximum of 1x18L, due to its construction and inflator placement. No adapter is necessary to mount a single tank. Stability is ensured by a built-in micro-adapter that forms a "backbone" for the outer wing. Once the tank is secured with 2 tank bands, the micro-adapter holds it firmly in place. The wing has a donut shape. It is compact but offers sufficient lift (approx. 217N) to meet the needs of a wide range of users. The outer shell is made from Cordura 2000. Thanks to its strong weave, it is very durable and practically indestructible. Both inner bladder options, Cordura 500 or alternatively a 500-micron polyurethane film without a protective nylon layer, are sufficiently robust materials that are exceptionally resistant and durable. They also feature adequate resistance to temperature changes and general diving conditions.
