The B2 is designed to be the most comfortable second stage on the market. It is the successor to the famous Atomic Aquatics B1 regulator, which has received more praise and favorable reviews in the industry press and independent tests than any other regulator in diving history (for both performance and functionality). The B2 features an identical design and performance as the T3, with the main difference being the use of titanium.

The only second stage on the market made entirely of titanium and a first stage of chrome-plated brass and 316 stainless steel. The weight of the second stage is so low that it is barely felt during use. High breathing standard, high flow rate (minimized breathing effort at depth and a large amount of breathing gas delivered) allows for natural and comfortable breathing. The regulator is factory-ready for use with nitrox up to 40% oxygen. The titanium construction of the second stage, made entirely of titanium, prevents corrosion and jaw fatigue (low weight). Comfortable dual silicone mouthpiece made of extremely soft and flexible silicone rubber (bite-resistant). The piston first stage is completely sealed from the water, which increases resistance to freezing and protects against contamination. The small, compact first stage has two HP ports, 5 LP ports, and the unique "Jet Seat" piston. An exceptionally efficient breathing system, ease of breathing even at great depths with a natural and comfortable delivery of the breathing mixture. Exceptionally comfortable swivel hose for the second stage - Comfort Swivel, the only second stage of its kind (swivel hose) - allowing use regardless of the can's position. The head allows the regulator to adapt to the slightest movement - to increase breathing comfort. Made of polished 316 stainless steel. Standard on models: B2, ST1 (stainless steel), Z3 (chrome-plated brass), and T3 (titanium). The convenient "swivel" hose can also be added to any Atomic Aquatics second stage. • Automatic Flow Control (AFC): Just enjoy the dive. No unnecessary knobs or buttons - the regulator automatically adjusts during the dive. It is the first and only regulator that responds to depth by using a Venturi nozzle, which automatically balances performance and stability (Pat. #5678541). A computer-designed flap inside the mouthpiece changes position depending on the depth to ensure continuous, natural, and effortless breathing at all depths.
• Titanium lever - provides absolute safety and reliability. This part is the key mechanical connection to the air supply. Built from a patented aerospace titanium alloy, the lever is resistant to abrasion, material fatigue, and corrosion.
• Balanced poppet system - an aerodynamically pneumatically balanced poppet latch provides increased airflow and ease of breathing, which means that regardless of the pressure in the tank, the diver will receive the same amount of air during the dive.
• Elliptical exhaust valve - significantly reduces exhalation effort at depth. An oversized, high-flow valve and the shape of the diaphragm inside the second stage of the regulator facilitate every exhalation.
• Seat saving orifice - a new orifice design significantly extends the life of the rubber seat. Seat wear is the primary cause of leaks in the second stage and a decrease in its performance during operation. The first and only adjustable dynamic sealing orifice (patent no. 5803073) is pressure-activated and only comes into contact with the rubber seat when the regulator is in use. This orifice is made of corrosion-resistant titanium or, in the case of the M1, stainless steel.
